Police in London are warning gay men to be alert for a man who befriends his victims in bars or online, then when he goes to their home, steals their belongings.
The man, who is being named by police as Michael Lawrence, but uses several aliases, is described as black, 6ft tall and of a muscular build.
All the victims targeted by the suspect have been gay men, the Met said. He has got away with cards, cash, laptops and valuables.
Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of Mr Lawrence is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 4618456/13 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police have warned people not to approach Mr Lawrence but instead call 999.
