BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw has reported receiving homophobic death threats after he was alleged to have insulted a member of One Direction.
He made a list of celebrities he deems ‘more annoying than Lorde’, mentioning Usher, Kelly Osbourne and Joey Essex; his producer Ian Chaloner then added One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson’s name.
hey 1D fans!!!!! i never mentioned the word “Louis” on my show today so enough with the charming homophobic death threats yeh?

But this was enough to draw the wrath of millions of fiercely protective fans, who bombarded him with abusive messages.
@grimmers maybe if you and your crew stopped talking shit about louis on a daily basis, you wouldn’t get such tweets 🙂
